After 4 back to back victories and a two-day break, Guadalajara got down to work today at Verde Valle pointing to the WildCard game against Pumas, which will be played this Sunday at 7:15 PM (CT) at Akron Stadium.
With the support of dozens of red and white fans in the stands, the first session of the week included Jose Juan Macias, who has been training alongside his teammates and, if he keeps it up, could be called-up for the match against UNAM.
On the other hand, 'Chicote' Calderon and 'Lalo' Torres were absent, as both got a special permission to attend to personal matters; Calderon was absent due to his religious marriage and Torres to spend time with his family after his grandfather passed away.
It is worth mentioning that 'Checo' Flores, 'Nene' Beltran and 'Cone' Brizuela did rehab work and later this week they will undergo an assessment to determine their condition towards the WildCard clash.
