With the absence of important players due to national team call-ups or injury, coach Cadena decided to try out a different formation in the second training session of this Sunday, as part of Chivas' preseason in Barra de Navidad.
The red & white coach opted to change the tactical formation from a 5-3-2 to a 4-4-2. He placed Hiram Mier and 'Pollo' Briseño as center backs, while on the sides he placed 'Chapito' Sánchez and 'Charal' Cisneros.
In the midfield he placed 'Oso' Gonzalez and Dylan Guajardo, while 'Chicote' Calderon and Gael Sandoval appeared as wingers. Up front he sent two strikers with Jose Juan Macias and 'Chevy' Martinez.
In addition to the main objective of getting the squad ready to compete, this is a great opportunity for those looking to earn a spot in Ricardo Cadena's team, as the same imponderables he is working with at the moment will probably happen during the Apertura 2022.
Of course that the red & white coach will continue to move his pieces throughout the Preseason...and we will let you know about it right here.
