The time has come for the Rebaño to travel to the United States to continue its preseason for the 2022 Apertura Tournament, with two warm-up matches against Liga MX opponents, on Wednesday 15 against Santos Laguna in Salt Lake City and on Saturday 18 against Atlas in Chicago.
For these matches, the red and white coach Ricardo Cadena decided to call up 24 players, so there are important changes with respect to the list of players who participated in the first stage of conditioning, last week in Barra de Navidad. The most relevant changes are the return of Alexis Vega and Roberto Alvarado after their participation with the Mexican National Team.
Goalkeeper André Alcaráz, Gabriel Martínez and Dylan Guajardo were not considered for these two games in North American soil, as they will be joining Tapatío, while Jesús Molina, Jesús Angulo, Sergio Flores and Isaac Brizuela will continue with their rehabilitation processes at the Verde Valle facilities.
Those called up for the Rebaño 2022 Tour:
Goalkeepers: Miguel Jiménez, Raúl Rangel.
