After finishing their tour of the United States, Chivas returned to Verde Valle focussing on reaching their best physical and footballing level ahead of the start of the Apertura 2022. During the morning training session, Guadalajara had several surprises, which we will tell you about below.
1. Will not be continuing. The first news of the day was that after having completed the preseason with the Chiverío, Gael Sandoval did not make the final roster for the next tournament. Club Deportivo Guadalajara wishes him the best of success in the challenges that lie ahead in his career.
2. Another adjustment was the rescheduling of the friendly match against Rayos del Necaxa, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 25, to Friday, June 24 at 9 a.m. and will take place at the Akron Stadium. The game will be played in four 35-minute halves.
3. After his return from the Mexican National Team, Fernando Beltrán is back at Guadalajara's training sessions. The workload for the 'Nene' was different from that of his teammates due to the fact that he did not do any preseason conditioning work.
4. The Rebaño Sagrado included four youth players in Tuesday's practice, where Ariel Castro, Marioni Ham, Leonardo Sánchez and Daniel Flores were used by Ricardo Cadena as alternates in his formations.
