CHIVAS DID IT! There was no other way, El Guadalajara had a transcendental week for their hopes in the Apertura 2022 in front of them. It was revive or die, and this Saturday they accomplished their mission by clearly beating Pumas 3-1 at the Akron, on matchday 11, which gave them their third win in 9 days and put them in the fight for a ticket to the Final Stage, as they are currently in seventh position with 15 points.

The goals:
0-1: The visitors took the lead at 3', after Caicedo played a ball into space and with an advantage to Diogo de Oliveira, who, upon arriving at the edge of the area, fired a shot that was impossible to save.

1-1: 'Chiquete' Orozco equalized the score at 14', when he appeared inside the box to palm a free kick from Vega and sent the ball into the net; this is the red and white defender's first goal in Liga MX.

2-1: Alexis Vega turned the score around in the 37th minute, when the backline deflected the ball off a direct free kick and the ball ended up in the back of the net.

3-1: At 40', Chivas gave Pumas a real ride to score the third goal of the night, as 'Nene' Beltrán put a lob to the goalkeeper, who managed to keep his hand out, but 'Chelo' was attentive to send it into the net; the play was a work of art of more than 20 touches that included a series of 'taquitos' between Vega and 'Piojo'.
