Mexico City - Chivas had to row against the current early on in the Clásico Nacional, they never gave up trying to even the score, their effort was not enough and they lost to the Águilas at the Estadio Azteca, in the match on matchday 15 of the Apertura 2022, leaving them in seventh place with 22 points.
Very early on, Chivas took a hard blow; it was hard for them to refocus, but little by little they were able to balance the flow of the game and even had options to even the score in both halves.
Goals:
1-0: 3' Henry Martin entered the box from the right and was tripped on the end line by Luis Olivas, the referee decreed a penalty, which the Azulcrema striker himself capitalized on.
2-0: 51' After a defensive header, the ball was left alive in the area and Zendejas headed the ball past Olivas and Jiménez.
2-1: 62' From a free kick on the right, Vega sent a service to the near post, where Chiquete combed the ball and 'Chicote' appeared at the far post to close the gap.
