International activity will be an important part of Chivas' preparation for the 2023 Clausura season and, as such, they have added another match to round off their tour of Spain at the end of the year.
Getafe will host El Rebaño Sagrado for the match to be played on Thursday, December 8 at 6 PM local time (11 AM Mexico) at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
This unprecedented duel between Chivas and Azulones will be the first of two stops in Spanish territory for the team coached by Veljko Paunovic, an old acquaintance of 'Geta', since his career as a player includes 2 seasons with the team from the south of the Community of Madrid (2005-2007).
Recent history has another meeting point between El Rebaño Sagrado and Getafe, as striker José Juan Macías, a Chivas' homegrown player, had a brief spell with the Azulón team before returning to the red & white club in February of this year.
Ticket sales for Chivas' visit to Getafe on December 8 at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez will be announced shortly.
