Guadalajara has concluded its preparation to face Atlético San Luis, a match in which the team coached by Veljko Paunovic will be looking for their second win of the competition and, at the same time, improve their footballing performance shown in the first match of the Clausura 2023.
Aware of how difficult it will be to face the team from Potosí at home, Veljko Paunovic has called up 22 players, among which there are two new additions that left us speechless and that undoubtedly reflect the high level of internal competition that has prevailed in the squad during the last few weeks.
Who are the players we are talking about? The first and the one that will surely cause excitement among the Rojiblanca Nation is Roberto Alvarado, who, after his participation in Qatar 2022, reappears on the Rebaño's list of eligible players. The second novelty is the incorporation of goalkeeper Axel Leyva, who received his first call-up to the Chivas First Team.
Guadalajara's 22 called-up players to face Atlético San Luis:
- Goalkeepers: Miguel Jiménez, Raúl Rangel, Axel Leyva.
- Defenders: Hiram Mier, Gilberto Orozco, Jesús Sánchez, Alan Mozo, Antonio Briseño, Cristian Calderón, Alejandro Mayorga.
- Midfielders: Eduardo Torres, Rubén González, Fernando Beltrán, Pavel Pérez, Víctor Guzmán, Carlos Cisneros, Isaac Brizuela.
