15/02/2023 21:15 / Javier Quezada

Guadalajara did well at home. With patience, intelligence, sparks of good soccer, especially in the second half, and a brace from 'Pocho' Guzmán, El Rebaño came from behind to beat Xolos on Wednesday night at the Estadio Akron, for matchday 7 of the Clausura 2023, a result that has catapulted them to fifth place overall with 12 points.

The goals
- At 26', the Xolos took the lead when Federico Lertora took advantage of a ball that was left alive in the box after a series of rebounds and shot past 'Wacho' with a left-footed shot.

- El Rebaño equalized at 35', when the referee awarded a penalty for a foul on Ronaldo Cisneros, which 'Pocho' Guzmán converted into a goal with a right-footed cross that completely fooled Toño Rodríguez.

- Chivas turned the score around at 88', after Ismael Govea cut off a dangerous action with a handball and, for the second time, 'Pocho' was in charge of making it valid with a shot to the right that overcame Rodríguez's reach.

The dangerous ones
- In the first minute of play, Alejandro Martínez put in a cross that Lucas Rodríguez connected with, but his shot went inches wide.
- At 3', 'Chapo' Sánchez reached the last third of the field and delivered a service that 'Tepa' González headed, but without the desired power.
- At 45', 'Piojo' Alvarado tried his luck from half distance, but the ball went over the goal.
- At 47', 'Piojo' put a pass between the lines that left Ronaldo with an advantage in front of goal, but the defense recovered to prevent him from pulling the trigger.
- At 57', 'Pocho' shot from long distance, but the ball went over the crossbar.
- At 62', Carlos Valenzuela took a shot from three-quarters of the field, but off target.
- At 68', 'Charal' Cisneros, who had been on the field for a couple of minutes, knocked the paint off the crossbar with a shot that hit the metal.
- At 73' Alan Mozo shook off the mark of Nicolás Díaz on the back line, then drove a few meters and put in a delayed pass that 'Lalo' Torres hit as it came, but crossed his shot too far.
- At 74', 'Tiba' Sepúlveda got up on the edge of the six-yard box to head in a corner kick, but his shot went wide.
- At 82', Mozo put in a cross that Torres extended, Cisneros took a first-time shot, but the ball went over the goal.
