Every beginning has an end and the Sangre Nueva Chivas 2023 edition came to an end, but it left a great experience for the young people who participated, who were full of dreams and with a lot of talent worked in the search to crystallize their dream, with the illusion of bringing joy to Chivas.
Throughout these days, the young people who responded to the call had the opportunity to experience a rehearsal of what professional soccer is like. The meeting point was at La Gigantera and from there they went to Club Aviña, where they were received by Mariano Varela, Director of Sports Operations, and Javier Mier, Assistant Director of Institutional Soccer, who welcomed them and encouraged them to give their maximum effort at all times.
The morning activity consisted of a soccer clinic, directed by Horacio Cervantes, Methodology Coordinator, and Alberto Coyote, Technical Director of Fuerzas Básicas del Rebaño; in this dynamic they worked with circuits of technical exercises and ball possession, as well as skills to improve coordination for 90 minutes.
Afterwards, they had a talk on scouting given by Jorge Domínguez, head of that department, and Paul Vera from SAIT. In the afternoon they played matches in different formats for the different categories, in which men and women from 8 years of age and older participated.
This experience, in addition to introducing them to different training methods, provided them with a soccer and personal growth as it offered them new tools that will be very useful in their path to reach their goal of becoming First Division players, so in the coming weeks they will be informed of the players who will continue the follow-up process of the scouting department as a result of their participation.
