The 10 Chivas homegrown players that Pauno and El Tri have in their sights

09/06/2023 14:57 / Club Deportivo Guadalajara

What a summer Chivas has ahead of them. The fact that the 2023 Liga MX Apertura Tournament and the Leagues Cup are coming up means a great opportunity for La Cantera Rojiblanca, as El Rebaño Sagrado will require a vast squad to face both competitions and that will obviously open spots for several youth players, at a time when Guadalajara's Youth Academy has given very high marks.

The main categories of La Cantera Rojiblanca have had a great semester in terms of results and development of homegrown talent, which will lead them to Liga MX. Lets remember the Expansion League and Champion of Champions titles that El Tapatío has recently won, in addition to the fact that the U20 and U18 teams reached the SemiFinals of their respective circuits.

As a result of this great collective and individual work, 10 members of the Red and White Youth Academy have a new challenge ahead of them to maintain their upward curve in professional growth, 6 of them will be in the preseason with Veljko Paunovic's squad, while another 4 were called up to the U23 National Team that will participate in the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
