Fernando Hierro, Sporting Director of Chivas, and Santiago Baños, Sporting President of the Águilas, were in charge of making the official announcement this Monday on the very same field of the historic stadium, which will host this duel between Guadalajara and América.
"I tell you from my own experience, the Clásicos are always beautiful whether they are played in your stadium or not, inside or outside your country, and we want Mexican soccer to continue to be known; in addition, in Los Angeles there is a wonderful colony of Mexicans, so it will be a great spectacle," said Fernando Hierro.
