Chivas concludes its preseason with a drubbing of Tepatitlán FC

27/06/2023 14:00 / Javier Quezada

The last training session prior to their debut in the Apertura 2023 was very profitable for Chivas, who at times showed sparks of good soccer and ended up reflecting it on the scoreboard with a 5-0 win over Tepatitlán FC.

The match, played this Tuesday morning at Verde Valle, consisted of 1 half of 45 minutes and 2 more of 40 minutes, which allowed both teams to give minutes to all their players.

With this, Guadalajara closed its preseason and, starting on Thursday, will focus all its energies on preparing for the first date of the Liga MX match against León, to be played on Monday, July 3 at 8 pm at the Nou Camp Stadium.

Chivas' goals
- At 19', Ricardo Marín was on his way to the goal when he was knocked down in front of the goal, from there, 'Pocho' Guzmán was in charge of putting the ball in the left corner of the net from the free kick and, although the goalkeeper managed to save the shot, he left the ball alive at the feet of Pável Pérez, who sent it into the net.

- Chivas extended their lead at 30' of the second half thanks to high pressure, which caused 'Tepa' to make a mistake at the start of the second half and Ronaldo Cisneros took advantage of the gift to score with the goalkeeper already beaten.

- The third came in the first minutes of the third half, after 'Chapo' Sánchez came out of his own half with the ball under control, put a pass between the lines that gave Daniel Ríos the advantage, who entered the box and struck a powerful line to the base of the right post.

- At 10' of the third half, 'Chapo' put in a cross into the heart of the area that Ronaldo controlled in two stages and left it to Yael Padilla, who coolly finished in front of the goalkeeper.

- El Rebaño closed the score at 16' of the final period, when Yael made a long change of play to the feet of 'Chapo', who controlled the ball as if by hand and then set up Ronaldo inside the area, who shot a cross that the goalkeeper could not save.
