The Red and White family gathered this Wednesday night at Akron Stadium, as the board of directors, players of both the male and female first squads, legends, fans and sponsors participated in the Silbatazo Rojiblanco, prior to the start of the 2023 Liga MX Apertura MX Tournament next Monday.
The activities began at 7 p.m. when the Cardinal of Guadalajara, José Francisco Robles, officiated a mass in which he thanked God for the recent successes and prayed for a much better soccer year for the institution.
Who attended?
The top management, headed by Amaury Vergara, Kenya Vergara and Fernando Hierro.
From the Chivas men’s squad were Isaac Brizuela, Jesus Sanchez, Ronaldo Cisneros, Alejandro Mayorga and Raul Rangel.
Chivas Femenil was represented by Rubí Soto, Gabriela Valenzuela, Daniela Delgado, Araceli Torres, Blanca Félix and Michelle González.
For Tapatío, the entire squad participated.
Several legends from different generations were also present: Carlos Salcido, Fernando Quirarte, Jair Pereira, Johnny Magallón, Demetrio Madero, Alberto Coyote, Camilo Romero, 'Tilón' Chávez, Ignacio Vázquez and 'Wendy' Mendizabal.
What was the highlight?
- The home and away uniforms for El Rebaño, Las Chingonas and el Tapatío for the next soccer year were formally presented.
- The arrival of 2 new sponsors for Chivas Femenil was announced: Cervecería Cielito Lindo and Pinturas Prisa. Welcome to the red and white family!
- Carls Junior was presented as a new commercial partner with Club Deportivo Guadalajara They are now part of the Red and White Nation!
