- Gustavo Nápoles ended up as goalkeeper in the match against the Blue and Whites in Winter 2000 at the Tec, after Oswaldo Sánchez was sent off. It was the first time that the 'Gusano' was in goal, as he was in goal against Pumas in the Verano 2002.
- On the last day of Verano 2001, Chivas played against Rayados at the Estadio Tres de Marzo and won 2-0.
- The match against Monterrey on Day 8 of the 2014 Apertura was stopped due to heavy rains in the Sultana del Norte, which caused a serious injury to Hiram Mier, who at the time was playing for La Pandilla; referee Miguel Ángel Ayala ended the game at the 12th minute when they were tied 0-0. The remaining time was played a couple of months later and the match ended with a 1-0 local victory.
