The duel between Guadalajara and Pachuca is full of vibrant moments and has a long history of confrontations between two of the oldest clubs in our country, so it is natural that there is a long list of players who have worn both jerseys, and for the match on matchday 9 of the Apertura 2021 we remember them.
The group is headed by el 'Maestro' Benjamín Galindo, who is Chivas' fourth all-time leading scorer with 78 goals. He also played 12 seasons with the Red and White and was champion in the 1986-1987 season. Although Galindo only wore the colors of Hidalgo for one season, he also won a league title in Invierno 99.
Another of the players most remembered by the Chiva Nation and who also wore the Pachuca jersey was Adolfo Bautista, who played 10 seasons with the Rebaño and was champion in AP06. Like Galindo, he lifted the title with the Tuzos in the only tournament he played in that jersey, in AP03.
Another player who was also champion with both teams was Sergio Santana, who debuted with the Tuzos in Summer 2000 and was crowned with the Blue and Whites in Winter 2001 and AP03. He played 6 tournaments with the Rebaño and participated in winning the 11th star in 2006.
