Club Guadalajara has always distinguished itself by implementing the best practices for the well-being of its #CanteraRojiblanca players and in order to share experiences and exchange strategies with other teams, held the second edition of the Club House and Psychology Congress at the Akron Stadium.
What was it about?
This exercise created a space in which the teams could learn about success stories in school matters, psychological support, social activities and relationships with the players' families, aware that the clubs share with the parents the important task of guiding these boys and girls who have the same dream: to play soccer professionally.
Another fundamental point that was touched upon at the congress was the mental health of the soccer player during his formative stage.
What were the activities?
There were conferences, round tables, presentations and tours of the Club Guadalajara facilities.
The keynote lecture was given by Margarita Cerviño and was entitled "Minds in action: collaboration to the maximum".
Who participated in this second meeting?
There were 11 Mexican soccer clubs: Chivas, Pumas, Tigres, América, Puebla, Atlético San Luis, Necaxa, Atlas, Pachuca, Toluca and Cruz Azul.
In addition, Liga MX joined the initiative to present in detail the new protocol for the prevention of harassment, sexual violence and other types of discrimination.
