Despite the 2-goal advantage obtained in the first leg of the Semifinals, a complicated game was to be expected in the second leg against Necaxa. However, with great class and maturity, Guadalajara managed to maintain its 3-2 aggregate advantage and awaits its opponent in the Grand Final of the Apertura 2023.
Necaxa started the match in an interesting way, as they managed to cut the deficit by scoring an early goal. Of course, Chiverío was not going to leave things at that and from that point on, they got their game back on track.
In the final stretch of the match, the Aguascalientes side came closer on aggregate, but this effort was not enough to compromise the Rebaño Sagrado's advance.
