Guadalajara's journey begins in this new year. The Clausura 2024 kicks off at home, with the full support of the Rojiblanca Nation, Chivas will host Santos this Saturday, January 13, at 7:05 p.m. Let's make the Akron Stadium vibrate!

How are both teams look coming into the tournament?
-Chivas secured their place in the Quarterfinals directly by finishing in fifth place overall with 27 points. Guadalajara faced Pumas in the Liguilla, a series that ended 3-1 for the Universitarios.

-The team from Torreón finished the Apertura 2023 in ninth place with 23 points, which gave them a ticket to Play In. In this instance they defeated Mazatlán and then lost to León.

What's new in the squads?
CHIVAS:
El Chiverío incorporated defender José Castillo, from Pachuca, and continues to work on the incorporation of other players to shore up the squad. Hiram Mier, Cristian Calderón and Alejandro Mayorga left the team.

SANTOS:
The Albiverdes added three players to their roster: Franco Fagúndez, Santiago Núñez and Vladimir Loroña. Meanwhile, they dispensed with the services of Juan Brunetta, Emerson Rodríguez and Santiago Ramírez.
