Chivas falls away from home against Necaxa

Despite running and pressing for more than 100 minutes, Chivas were unable to score in their visit to the Aguascalientes Stadium, losing by the minimum difference against Necaxa. The Red-and-White tried their best, but were unable to score against the Rayos in the duel that took place on Matchday 9 of the Clausura 2024.

Guadalajara will soon have a rematch, with the full support of the ChivaHermanos at home this Saturday, February 24, when they host Pumas at the Akron Stadium for Matchday 8.

The Goal

- The home team got the scoreboard moving at 28', after Monreal managed to put in a delayed pass that Cambindo pushed into the net.

Dangerous chances

- At 4', the Rebaño had their first chance on goal after a triangulation between 'Piojo', Pavel and Marín, which ended with a shot over the goal.

- At the 10th minute, Paradela fired a cross shot from the edge of the large area, but 'Tala' Rangel deflected it to a corner.

- At 32', 'Nene' received a defensive rebound in the half-moon area, controlled it and then pulled the trigger, but the ball went wide.
