The Cantera Rojiblanca continues to show good results, ChivaHermanos! Guadalajara's U16 and U14 teams have secured their place in the Liguilla of the Clausura 2024 with outstanding performances in their respective categories.
The U16 team, coached by Benny Ferreyra, scored 27 points and took fourth place in Group 2 with 8 wins, 3 draws, and 5 losses. The opponent will be América in the quarterfinals which will take place on Wednesday, April 24 at the Coapa facilities.
Meanwhile, the U14 team, coached by Marco Palacios, also led their sector with 27 points, the result of 7 wins, 6 ties, and 3 losses. This Saturday, April 27, they will host Puebla at Verde Valle for a ticket to the Semifinals.
It is important to note that the Liguilla format in both competitions is as follows: The Quarterfinals and Semifinals will be played as a single game at the home of the highest-placed team in the standings, while the Final will be a round-robin game at each club's stadium.
