Club Deportivo Guadalajara informs that after an analysis of what was done in recent weeks, Joaquín Moreno will continue as coach of Chivas Femenil and will have a new technical assistant facing the Apertura 2024 and the Summer Cup.

Moreno has been linked to Guadalajara all his life, as he arrived at the age of 9 to the Cantera Rojiblanca to begin his training process as a player. His coaching career began in 2005 and he has coached all the youth categories of the Rebaño, in which he has accumulated an extensive track record.

But that's not all, as there is another important new addition to the Chingonas' coaching staff, as María José López has joined the team as an assistant coach.

María José comes from Puebla, a team she coached in the Apertura 2023 and Clausura 2024. In addition, Lopez was the coach of the U-18 Franja in the Apertura 2022 and Clausura 2023. She has accumulated 54 games as a coach and previously, she was a professional player in the Liga MX Femenil.

She played 8 tournaments with La Franja and ended her career as a player in the Clausura 2022, after 117 professional games and 14 goals scored.

With this addition and the ratification of Joaquín Moreno, Guadalajara is more than prepared on the bench to face the next semester, which will be full of activity. The experience and ability of 'Quino', plus the freshness and preparation of 'Majo', will form a good duo that will strengthen the players of Chivas Femenil.
