This Sunday was a very special night at the Akron Stadium, as one of the most important and popular tournaments in children's and youth soccer in Mexico was officially inaugurated: The Chivas JV Cup 2024.
In front of hundreds of people who gathered at the home of the Rebaño Sagrado, the opening ceremony was held for the 30th edition of the tournament, in which 340 teams from all over Mexico, the United States and even some from South America will participate, divided into different categories, ranging from 2006 to 2017, in addition to the Women's category.
During the inauguration event there were some surprises for the players who will participate in the Copa Chivas JV 2024, such as event balls and even personalized umbrellas. In addition, David Nungaray, goalkeeper of the Cantera Rojiblanca, was the special guest to kick off this prestigious tournament.
There is no doubt that a week full of good soccer, a lot of energy and a lot of talent is coming, which will be permanently observed by the scouts of Club Deportivo Guadalajara.
The tournament will kick off this Monday, July 29 and will end on August 2, with the following venues: Campos Las Palmas, SoccerLife, Maracaná and Club Deportivo Aviña.
