How did the Cantera Rojiblanca fare in their visit to La Noria?

The Cantera Rojiblanca experienced another day of activity this Saturday morning, when both the U-23 and U-19 teams visited the La Noria facilities to face Cruz Azul.

How did the U-23 team fare?

José Meléndez's team picked up their second consecutive win in the tournament, as they went to La Noria and defeated Cruz Azul 1-2. With this, the red-and-whites reached 12 points and are now in tenth place in the standings.

It was the team from Guadalajara who opened the scoreboard at 26', when Daniel Cervantes headed in a cross from the right by Mauricio Reyes in the small area.

At the dawn of the second half, the locals equalized with a goal by Samuel Espinosa, but Juan Pablo Uribe restored the Red-and-White's lead at 51', to put the game to bed.

The Rebaño youth team returned from La Noria with no points after losing 2-0 to the Celestes. Chivas U19 remains in fourth place in the table with 15 points.

At the end of the first half, Emilio Dávila scored for the capital side.

Later, Jeyson Durán put the final score at 56' for Cruz Azul.
