A great day for the Guadalajara Subs, who despite having a complex task against Rayados, managed to get the win and take the three points on Day 10 of the Apertura 2024. If you want to know all the details of both matches, we'll tell you about them below.
How did the U-23 team fare?
The Rojiblancos defeated Rayados 3-0 on pitch 2 of Verde Valle to record their fourth match without defeat in the AP24. With this, José Meléndez's team reached 15 points in the general table, which moved them into the Playoff places.
The first half was a Red-and-White monologue, which held the regios at bay through ball possession and the generation of opportunities up front. This was reflected in the 10th minute when Leonardo Jiménez headed home a cross from the corner to move the scoreboard for the first time. Towards the end of the first half, Isaac Martínez grabbed a rebound in the small area to send the ball into the net at 41', which sent Los Tapatíos into the break with the lead.
The second half was no different: Juan Pablo Uribe appeared at 65' to shoot past the goalkeeper inside the box.

How did the U19 team fare?
The Rebaño were far superior and managed to get the three points against the Regiomontanos. At 17', Esteban Mendoza gave Guadalajara the lead with a goal from the edge of the box that left the visiting goalkeeper with no chance. The rest of the first half passed calmly and it was not until the second half that the Chiverío put the final numbers on the scoreboard.
It was on the final stretch of the match when Maximiliano Bustos scored the definitive 2-0 after a run down the left flank, which took the Rayados by surprise and ended with a left-footed cross shot.
After this victory, the Rojiblancos climb to fourth place in the overall standings with 18 points.
