Going out of the box has been a constant in the official photographs of Club Guadalajara for several years and on this occasion the Arena Coliseo in the Medrano neighborhood, in the Perla de Occidente, was chosen to be portrayed with the theme of one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the Mexican people: lucha libre (wrestling).
One of the messages that Chivas seeks to send to the entire Red and White Nation is to never give up and fight in unity until the end, so in the company of several professional wrestlers led by Atlantis, one of the maximum referents of Mexican Pancracio, the entire First Team, coaching staff, board and staff got into the ring to take a portrait of such an emblematic mixture of two of the most Mexican symbols.
The atmosphere was unbeatable between the wrestlers and the players, as several of the Red and White players took the opportunity to ask for advice and practice some wrestling techniques. In fact, 'Piojo' Alvarado did not waste the opportunity to fly from the third rope and show off his skills, which are not only evident in every match on the field, but now also in the ring.
