Guadalajara engaged in a real battle with Pumas this Saturday night at the Akron Stadium, however, neither managed to score and the match of Matchday 15 ended in a scoreless draw, a result that keeps alive the Rebaño's chances of qualifying directly for the Liguilla, which reached 22 points in the standings.
With the conviction of imposing their home advantage, the red and white team took control of the ball and constructed plays that brought them close to the university goal. Through partnerships in the midfield and the width of their wingers, Chivas found space to cause damage, but lacked precision in their finishing.
Chivas must now focus on making the most of the upcoming double-header at the end of the championship, in which they will have to collect the remaining 6 points, first against Santos this Tuesday in the Comarca Lagunera and then next Saturday against San Luis at the Akron Stadium.
