Chivas Subs will define everything in the second leg of the Quarterfinals

20/11/2024 14:23 / Enrique Noriega

It was an intense morning for the Guadalajara Subs, who officially began their journey in the Final Phase of the Apertura 2024. The U-23 Rebaño Sagrado received Tigres in Verde Valle, while the U-19 team visited Pachuca and if you want to know how it went, stay and we'll tell you about it here.

The team coached by Daniel Soares was better than Tigres, but was unable to maintain the advantage and ended up drawing 1-1 in the first leg. Now, everything will be defined in the second leg, which will take place next Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Zuazua facilities.

The goals

1-0: Ariel Castro gave us a painting at 50' of the match. After a great cross from Javier Guerrero, the Rojiblanco midfielder broke the deadlock with a spectacular scissor kick that was uncatchable for the university goalkeeper, who only saw the ball go into the back of the net.

1-1: The Felinos equalized the score at 83' through Israel Aceves, who won the ball from a corner kick and scored Tigres' goal with a solid header.

U19

The Rebaño visited the Bella Airosa and obtained a good result with a 0-0 draw against the Tuzos. The match had a high level of tension, as both teams knew that they could not give an inch to the rival.

After this draw, the series will move to the Perla Tapatía, where Guadalajara will seek their ticket to the Semifinals next Saturday. It is worth remembering that any draw gives Chiverío, who finished in the best overall position during the Apertura 2024, a ticket to the Semifinals.
