Chivas is just a few days away from kicking off the CONCACAF Champions Cup 2025, as this Thursday, February 6, the Rebaño will visit the Dominican Republic to face Cibao FC in the first leg of the first round of the continental competition.
Prior to the first leg, Óscar García selected 24 players for the team to face the Caribbean side. There are some new additions to the roster, which we will discuss below.
- After several years, Alan Pulido returns to a Guadalajara call-up list and will be eligible for the first leg.
- Óscar Whalley, Víctor Guzmán, Daniel Flores, Leonardo Sepúlveda and Miguel Gómez are still recovering from their respective injuries and were not considered for the clash between the Rebaño and the Dominicans.
- Sebastián Liceaga, goalkeeper of the Cantera Rojiblanca, also made the trip with the team.
