Santiago, Dominican Republic - Chivas has already checked out the field at the Cibao Stadium, where tomorrow night they will play the first leg of the First Phase of the CONCACAF Champions Cup against Cibao FC. The Rojiblanco team held its last training session before beginning a new journey at continental level, in which they fine-tuned the final details prior to the first match of the series against the Caribbean team.

Óscar García and Alan Mozo spoke to the local and international press prior to the training session, and both agreed that the team has worked hard to improve and are confident that the Rebaño will return to Guadalajara with an advantage on aggregate.

Oscar García:

"We take the Concacaf just like a league match, it has the same importance for us."
"I am confident in my work, in all the teams I have been in I have fulfilled the realistic objectives. We have to stay calm and hope that we get better and better."
"I'm not going to look at the age of the player, but his performance. We have very good players, we want to be a competitive team, with a base of experienced players who will contribute to the young players."
"We will be a much stronger team when all the players are recovered."
"Chivas is a very big team. Work is what will give us the results we want."
"What we are going to look for in this match is to win, to continue with the construction of this project. We are in process, in 5 matches you are still in the foundations".
"We would like to have even more points, but the important thing is to deserve it. In these matches I have seen more lights than shadows".
"For us it is a pride to represent Mexico outside the country with Mexican players. It is a source of pride and we always want to leave the shield at the top."
"The club's identity is to play with Mexican players. We are working very well in Fuerzas Básicas, we have complied with the underage rule in 4 and a half matches and that is a source of pride."
"Of course we would like to score more goals in every game, but so far we have scored in all of them. We are going to work to improve individually to grow as a group."
"I see that the team has competed very well outside of the second half against Querétaro. Not only have we competed, but in many phases we have been better."

Alan Mozo:

"Tomorrow will be a perfect example of the history and the fans that Chivas has. I'm ready to support my team from wherever I am."
"I think the weather tomorrow and the stadium will be spectacular. There are no pretexts to go out and give a match at the level of the team we are."
"Cibao will be a team that will keep us on our toes for 90 minutes. They want to take advantage of their opportunity because they have done things right, they are here for a reason."
"We will go out to take a step forward towards what we want, it's a nice opportunity to do so."
"It was quite a long recovery, thanks to the incredible work of the staff I am now eligible for the team. I'm ready to play wherever I play, offensively I can hurt the opponent, but every game is different."
"We are obliged to win tomorrow"
"We have a good connection on the court. Everything is a process, when it's Camberos' turn to play or whoever, I'm going to support him."
"I love to contribute and I think I can add a lot. It's not the names, it's the team and we have to show it".
