An atmosphere of festivity and excitement was experienced this Sunday afternoon at the Akron Stadium, as the inauguration of the Rebaño Chivas 2025 Tournament took place, which was attended by thousands of boys, girls, teenagers, coaches and parents who are part of 50 official schools of the Guadalajara Club in Mexico and the United States.
For this new edition of the competition, a total of 234 teams, divided into 14 categories, will compete to take home the cup and the red and white glory. The soccer activity will begin this Monday, April 21, and will extend until Friday, April 25, in two venues: Las Palmas and Napoles, with a total of 16 fields that will receive the future talents of the Rebaño Sagrado.
With the immensity of the Fortaleza Rojiblanca as a backdrop, the children and their families were able to enjoy fair-like activities, where the trophies of the men's and women's teams were on display, as well as soccer tables, ping pong, the official First Team truck and some other activations.
Finally, and to officially kick off this important competition, the participants took an oath with a true Rojiblanca legend: Jesus 'Chapo' Sanchez, who dedicated some words of encouragement and wished them the best in the competition.
