It was definitely not an easy morning for Guadalajara U19, who, despite having tried from start to finish, were unable to score the equalizer and fell 1-0 to Pachuca, in the first leg of the Quarter-Finals of the Clausura 2025. After this defeat, Chivas will have to win by 2 goals in the second leg, as the position in the table favors the Tuzos.
The match was fairly balanced, as neither Chivas nor Pachuca were able to impose clear conditions. However, in the first minutes of the second half, an inattention cost the Rebaño Sagrado a penalty kick, which was well executed by the visiting team.
If there was one thing that characterized Guadalajara U19 throughout the Clausura 2025, it was their effectiveness in defense, as they only allowed 8 goals in 17 matches. For the final match, Sergio Pinto's team will have to put a padlock on their goal and show effectiveness in attack, since, as we have already mentioned, they need to win by 2 goals to secure their ticket to the Semifinals.
The second leg will be played next Sunday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Universidad del Futbol, home of the Hidalguenses.
